  • Provide leadership, guidance, training, and workflow coordination for BA and QA associates.
  • Establish trusting and credible relationships with other department Directors and Supervisors.
  • Provide budget input and financial management as required. 
  • Responsible for resource planning for all project types. 
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members.
  • Maintain an active voice in various department meetings.
  • Escalate issues as necessary along with potential solutions or recommendations.
  • Identify, document, communicate, and enforce departmental process improvements and governance policies.
  • Work closely with other department Supervisors to ensure consistent alignment and direction.
  • Resolve and/or escalate team roadblocks as encountered.
  • Meet with team members on a regular basis to establish and review career plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships, as necessary.Maintain a persuasive, motivating, and encouraging demeanor.




  • Bachelor’s degree in IT related field with a minimum of 9 years of business analysis and/or quality assurance experience.
  • Knowledge of the SDLC, business processes and technical aspects of software solutions.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and a self-starter.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.


  • Requirements management and Quality management software experience.
  • Possess business process knowledge and/or experience in 2 or more lines of business and/or business units.
  • Insurance industry experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
  • CPCU or other professional insurance designations.
