Overview

This position supports the Casualty and Property Claims department by assisting with various aspects of the CSR process including ordering police reports, helping route mail, attend to the batching, and paying bills. Throughout the school year, this position is part-time 8 to 24 hours per week based on class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the summer and breaks, the position can be 40 hours per week.

 

DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Learn our Flagship and Legacy and ImageRight Systems
  • Lean basic insurance concepts and principles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Casualty and Property areas in ordering police reports.
  • Document the current status of the police report ordering to the Claims Representatives.
  • Assist the CSR Team with the batching process.
  • Issue expense payments or bulk payments when needed.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL:

  • Pursuing Associate in Business Administration or Customer Service Role
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft 2010 Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

       PREFERRED:

  •  Prior Customer Service Experience
