  • Overview

    This resume-enhancing opportunity is based in our Appleton office and will begin in the spring of 2019. The ideal candidate for the position will graduate in May 2020 or later with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. 

     

    This is a year-round internship - During the school year, this position is part-time (approximately 20 hours per week) based on your class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the summer and school breaks, the position is 40 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Post open positions internally, and on various external websites, as well as social media.
    • Assist in reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, administering assessments, and making employment offers.
    • Conduct benchmarking studies of SECURA competitors to research and examine various HR topics.
    • Obtain feedback from new hires regarding working at SECURA and share with Human Resources department.
    • Coordinate and attend job fairs.
    • Assist in working with SECURA’s Human Resource Information Systems as needed.
    • Collaborate with Human Resources team in a variety of HR projects
    • Assist in other HR duties as they arise.

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a four-year college degree program and majoring in Human Resource Management.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
    • Top-notch verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to make presentations to senior management.
    • Superior analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Initiative to take on new challenges.
