  • Overview

    Serve as Project/Program Coordinator providing project logistics, communication, data management and reporting-related support tasks for project and program managers

    Responsibilities

    • Backup support for Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (MSProject, Jira and WorkFront)
    • Utilize departmental PMO processes and tools
    • Perform meeting-related support tasks (scheduling/facilitating/agendas/notes/distribution)
    • Work with project team leads to collect status reporting updates for summary level roll-up
    • Provide coordination and communication support across projects
    • Assist in preparation for key project management meetings and presentations
    • Assist in project, program and portfolio resource management tasks
    • Assist in project schedule management via PPM tools
    • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Able to multi-task and work quickly, but efficiently and effectively
    • Organized, accurate and thorough
    • Strong emotional intelligence when working with diverse team members

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an IT or business-related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
    • Highly motivated, organized, and a self-starter
    • Superior oral and written communication skills

    PREFERRED:

    • PPM tool administration experience and/or project management experience
    • Insurance industry experience
