To successfully assist with SECURA’s banking relations external asset management relationships, and to ensure proper financial recording and full compliance of all investment related and cash receipt type transactions.
We are looking for a highly motivated nurse (RN) to combine in-house telephonic case management and claims representative duties. The position is responsible for managing assigned claims to ensure claims are managed to our Best Practices, including compensability review, appropriate treatment, and mitigating lost time, in a timely and cost-effective manner. Caseload may include catastrophic/complex medical/disability cases, lost time and/or medical only claims.
The Big Data Engineer is responsible for supporting the analysis, design and implementation of SECURA’s big data solutions. In addition you are responsible for coaching and mentoring our current Business Intelligence staff in understanding where big data solutions should and can be used.
You will be working with SECURA’s business leaders and technology teams to deliver solutions that support our Actuary, Underwriting and Claims staff. You will perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this data in crafting a solution that meets the business needs while adhering to best practice architecture.
This position supports the Property Claims department by assisting with various aspects of the claims process including initial setup, payments, and letters.
Throughout the school year, this position is part-time 20 hours per week based on class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This would be an 18-month internship opportunity. During the summer and breaks, the position can be 40 hours per week.
The Software Engineer is responsible for the design, code, and testing of software programs and applications that enable Agent, Client, and Associate facing technologies and capabilities for SECURA Insurance. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle
The Accounting/Finance Internship is a part-time position during the school year based on class schedule and our company’s business hours (M-F, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.), and a full-time position during the summer and school breaks. The Accounting/Finance intern will gain experience in the day-to-day operations in the Finance Department, as well as have opportunities to work on projects, attend professional seminars, social events and volunteer activities that will allow you to work with a variety of people and build your professional skills.
